Alexx Ekubo was born to Mazi Alex Oji Ekubo Okwaraeke, a businessman who worked with British Petroleum and later retired from Africa Petroleum Plc, and Mrs. Jane Ekubo Okwaraeke, an evangelist. He grew up in a loving and close family with his three siblings: Chioma Ekubo, Amarachi Ekubo, and Michael Ekubo. His parents taught him important values such as hard work, discipline, faith, and respect, which helped shape his life and career.

Alexx Ekubo Okwaraeke born on April 10, 1986, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, he hailed from Arochukwu in Abia State.
